Chief Executive officer
Nikki became CEO at Renew in August 2019 She has been working at Renew since 2004, when she joined as a counsellor. Nikki is MBACP accredited. She has worked Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer. She has worked for Beat, the eating disorders charity as a trainer and for Lambeth Crime Prevention Trust as a trainer, raising awareness around domestic violence.
Her research areas have included the effects of labelling and diagnosis on counsellors, clients and their families, also on developing ways of working with clients who express their distress through self-harm, suicidal ideation and/or eating disorders.

Hilary is a supervisor and BACP accredited counsellor with many years experience and is based in Renew’s counselling centre in Chelmsford.
She is a Barnardo’s approved adoption counsellor and has worked with children and young people for over 15 years and with families and people with adoptive issues for over 8 years.

Counselling Manager (Schools)
Justine is a BACP accredited counsellor currently in the role of Renew’s Counselling Manager of the Schools service.
Previously she worked as a youth worker for Essex County Council, Essex Young People’s Drug and Alcohol service and Connexions.
She has been employed by Renew since July 2007…she continues to practise as a counsellor in senior schools in the Essex area.

Emma manages all functions of the Head Office, including Human Resources for 140 employees and volunteers, Payroll, Finance, Facilities and Legal & Governance.
As a senior management team we bring almost 80 years of post-qualification counselling experience and insights from our work in teaching, social work, ministry, higher education and youth work.
Renew is accredited by the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), and is an academic franchise partner of Anglia Ruskin University.
Paul Galbally Programme lead for Counselling and Psychotherapy course at Anglia Ruskin University
Paul Galbally has just completed his doctorate in Applied Psychology at the University of Essex where he studied therapeutic applications to families and separation. Paul also has an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a clinical Masters in Relational Psychotherapy and is an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. He is currently working for Renew Ltd. as the programme lead on a diploma and degree course in Counselling and Psychotherapy that is affiliated to Anglia Ruskin University.
Paul is trained in systemic and psychodynamic psychotherapy and has extensive experience in working clinically with complex families, couples and individuals referred through social care, adoption services, family court, the educational sector and the NHS. Paul’s specialist areas of research are family, conflict/separation, discourse analysis, ethical messiness in sensitive topics and interdisciplinary approaches.
